SERVICES >> Root Canals

When the pulp of a tooth becomes infected or inflamed, we perform root canal therapy to remove the dead pulp. We then fill and seal the pulp space. Without treatment, the infection continues to fester and spread, resulting in swelling and pain. The only other option is extraction. Our office performs root canal therapy on anterior teeth and on bicuspids.

Anterior teeth are the six upper and the six lower front teeth also known as incisors and canines. Bicuspids are the premolar teeth found between the canine and molar teeth. Patients who need treatment on molars or on teeth with exceptional anatomy are referred to an endodontic specialist.
